This episode is dedicated primarily to discussing the PS3 games we've been playing. JB recently finished L.A. Noire and PS3 exclusive Closure. Kal talks about his recent play through of God of War: Ascension and plans for future PS3 playtime. We also talk a bit about PS3 trophies and multiplayer games. We move on to some brief chatting about Mark Waid's current Daredevil run, Superman Family Adventures and Superman Unchained. The episode wraps up as Kal and JB look forward to summer blockbuster Man of Steel and discuss recent media releases about the upcoming movie.

Episode 3 - A Fresh Start

Episode 3 - Although this is Episode 3, we're considering this to be a soft reboot (like Marvel NOW?...). The new format will focus on what Kal and JB, the geeky married hosts, have been reading, watching and playing. This week we talk about JB's recent hardcover comic additions, discuss the Green Lantern books and spend some time talking about Icon comics. We also have a little disagreement about G.I. Joe Retaliation and discuss the awesome new Man of Steel trailer. Future episodes may follow a more unique format- stay tuned.

In Episode 2 of Talkin' Geek! we review Django Unchained and our top 5 movies of 2012. In comic news we review the latest issues of some Superman books, Daredevil End of Days #4 and New Avengers #1. In gaming, we discuss the legacy of Nintendo Wii exclusives like the New Super Mario Brothers Wii and Super Mario Galaxy. We wrap it up with a quick chat about current generation games that may have the nostalgic value to today's kids like Mario means to us.

Episode 1 - A Whole Lot Of Geek

Welcome to Talkin' Geek! In our inaugural episode we overview recent trailers for some of 2013's summer blockbusters and review The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Television's biggest news includes the incredible Season 7 finale of Dexter and the newest animated incarnation of TMNT. We also discuss some of the comics we've been reading such as Superman, Action Comics, Elephantmen, The Walking Dead and Hawkeye. We wrap things up with what we've been playing, GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony, Tony Hawk HD, Journey and L.A. Noir. Finally, we look forward to next year's deluge of great games in the spring.
